SNOW AND ICE
When I am not shooting beautiful memories for my fabulous clients I am out creat ART.
At the start of June I went down to Newcastle, NSW again for a fabulous shoot with one of my muses Sarah and another favourite muse of mine Maddy.
I was thinking Ice and Snow Queens, I had probably watched Frozen before I came up with this idea! I’m not sure I can’t really remember.
I will let the amazing images speak for themselves…
PS it wasn’t snowing… we were near the beach 😉
And now for some seperate shots!
My Family
Â
A tradition started in 2013.
Every mothers day the whole side of my mothers family gather at my Uncles farm, we have a barbeque and we update our photos.
The last year was hard for us, we lost my Grand Father in September 2013.
RIP Pop, forever missed.
This year we had a little bit more time to plan our shoot, once again we involved the old car as its very much apart of the family.
We even welcome two new bundles into the family in the form of TWINS!
Meet Gwen and Rick.
We naturally did all of our single shots.

AlexandriaWe were so lucky to have the amazing leaves of that tree!
We then proceeded on to the family shots.
Here is everyone.
Here is my immediate family…
Us girls…
My partner and I!
And nan with the grand children…
Finally pop was with us in spirit.
Thats our family portraits wrapped up for another year!
Looking forward to updating on Mothers Day 2015.

Dreaming of Spring (In Autumn)
Spring Dreaming.
Back in April (Autumn for me because I’m from Australia) I went out for a bit of fun with one of my favourite Moree models Kodie.
It is amazing how you can find a fabulous location and it just inspires you to create!
There’s not really much to say… The beautiful images speak for themselves…
The lovely ‘fur’ is actually my Norwegian Sheepskin from our trip to The Isle of Skye last year… I’m pretty sure you can buy them online at Skye Skyns!

WARRIOR
My second day in Newcastle.
It rained.
But it didn’t stop us!
My favourite Newcastle Model Sarah, my assistant/little sister Emily and I braved the elements and went on our shoot anyway.
Is the Nikon D600 with 24 -70mm 2.8 lens water proof you ask…
The answer is YES!
Are we waterproof… No not really we had to shelter under the reflector during the heaviest parts of the rain.
Was it fun.
HELL YES!
Here is Sarah before we got saturated…
And then… on the very wet and dark shoot…

Urban Gowns – Newcastle #2
Back at the start of April (Yes I know I am sooooooo far behind in my blogging!) I went down to Newcastle for the next installment of my Urban Gowns Series.
Sarah did an excellent job of being an Urban Ariel and we went to several locations around the Newc astle CBD and near Horseshoe beach where we were treated to an amazing sunset.
Isn’t she beautiful?
As with any shoot in the public we did have a bit of an audience but we soldiered on producing some amazing shots!

We spent the whole morning out in Newcastle East amongst the terrace houses (I adore the terrace houses of Newcastle), finding little nooks and crannies and getting some stunning shots.
I LOVE fashion and portrait shoots!
A big thanks to Sarah and Emily for being my helpers on the morning…
We had a great time laughing and joking throughout the shoot and found some fabulous places!
The Myers in Newcastle
The last weekend in December I had the pleasure of staying in Newcastle for a few shoots.
I have known the Myers for the last 10 years and they are such a wonderful and fun family.
We went down to Horseshoe Beach (Which is the dog beach off Nobbies in Newcastle) for their wonderful family photos and we were blessed with such AMAZING clouds! And of course a few dog photo bombs… we were after all on a dog beach!
What a BEAUTIFUL and FABULOUS family!
